Welcome to IDBI Bank’s NRI Services. You may open your NRI account by following the below simple steps

1. Download the NRI account opening form from the Form centre.
2. Complete the account opening form in all respects with required signatures, etc
3. Please obtain the following documents –
   1. Copy of Valid Passport
   2. Copy of one of the below Residence / Work permits
      1. Resident Visa
      2. Work Visa
      3. Green Card (for US residents)
      4. In case of PIO, please submit PIO (person of India origin) card OR OCI (overseas Citizen of India) card.
   3. Copy of valid communication address proof
All the above documents need to be self attested and signed by one of the below
• Indian Embassy abroad
• Existing local banker abroad
• Overseas Notary
• Offices of Exchange Houses with which we have tie ups in the Gulf
• Self Attestation* (click here for details)
4. Sign the requisite schedule of facilities depending on your preferred category of account and attach it along with the Account Opening Form. Account categories are divided into 3 types
   1. Super Savings (Average Quarterly balance of Rs 5,000)
   2. Power Plus (Average Quarterly balance of Rs 50,000)
   3. Preferred (Average Quarterly balance of Rs 1,00,000)
   4. Royal (Average Quarterly balance of Rs 3,00,000)
5. On completion of the requisite documentation, you are requested to courier the Account opening form, schedule of facilities and the supporting documents to the address of the branch you have selected. The branch details can be obtained on the below link
