The investor/depositor would need to write advising the change in address. In this communication he has to specifically mention the FDR No. and all the depositors needs to sign the communication

In case the investor does not want the TDS to be applicable, they would require to give declaration in Form 15H (for individuals, HUF and Trusts) or Form 15AA certificate from ITO (for Other than Individual, HUF and Trusts) as the case may be for non deduction of tax at source or for deduction of tax at source at a lower rate.

The same would depend on the situation:Deletion in case of Death and addition of name thereof

1. Advise in writing alongwith the attested death certificate of the deceased. The communication should be signed by all other depositors.


2. Provide the name and address of the depositor whose name has to be added along with his/her signatures duly attested.
3. The changes would be recorded in the data and on the face of FD, duly authorised and returned
