IDBI Bank conducted MSME Customers Meet on January 6th, 2017 across the Country

Mumbai, January 18, 2017: IDBI Bank conducted MSME Customers meet at 68 centres pan India on January 6, 2017.

The main objective of the event was to reconnect the field functionaries with the existing and prospective MSME customers. The meet was conducted to acknowledge and felicitate SME customers with good track record and other dignitaries who are contributing in overall growth in the economy and employment generation. The occasion was also utilised to create awareness of facilities available at IDBI Bank for MSME Sector.

The meets were addressed by senior officials of the Bank at various centers. Officials from various local bodies, Govt. Departments/ District Industrial Centers/ State Industrial Development Corporation/ Merchant Association etc. also attended the meet and shared their expertise and latest developments in the field of MSME.

IDBI Bank has been focusing on Priority Sector Lending with emphasis on lending to MSME with various innovative products. The growth registered by the bank in lending under this segment during the last three years has been significant particularly under Micro Finance category. This unique initiative taken by IDBI Bank in organising MSME customers meet was widely appreciated by the participants at the meets.
