Vigilance Awareness Week- 2016 at IDBI Bank Ltd.

Mumbai, November 3, 2016: Vigilance Awareness Week was observed by IDBI Bank Ltd. from October 31 to November 5, 2016 with the theme “Public Participation in Promoting Integrity and Eradicating Corruption”. The Vigilance Pledge was administered to the Bank’s staff members on November 1, 2016, at its Corporate Office in Mumbai. The DMDs Shri K.P.Nair and Shri G.M.Yadwadkar, ED Shri R.K.Bansal and ED-CVO Shri Suneet Kumar Mathur addressed the gathering on the theme of the Week and sensitized them on various ill effects of corruption, including taking and offering any unlawful favour and negligence in performance of one’s duties.

On this occasion, a Special Journal brought out by the Bank’s Vigilance Department was also released.

During the Vigilance Awareness Week, talks by eminent Guest Speakers were organized. Also, various competitions on the theme related topics were conducted, not only among the staff members, but also for participation of students of schools, colleges and educational institutions for spreading awareness among the country’s youth. Awareness Gram Sabhas, Integrity Pledges, Grievance Redressal Camps and other such outreach activities were organized throughout the Bank with zeal and enthusiasm.
