The powers and duties of its officers and employees

The officers and employees of the Bank conduct business operations of the Bank, which are in consonance with the objectives specified in the Memorandum of Association of the Bank. The Board of Directors have delegated powers to various officers of the Bank. Besides, various policy documents, some of which are listed under section 4(1)(b)(V) guide the officers in discharging their duties. The Powers and Duties are revised from time-to-time depending upon the organizationís requirements.

For effective discharge of the day-to-day management of the Bank, the Board of Directors has delegated powers to Chairman & Managing Director, Dy. Managing Director(s), Functional/ Business Heads, other officers and various Committees of Executives of the Bank. The Delegation of Powers (DOP) is a robust delegation matrix for facilitating operational convenience and quick decision making.
