In the absence of passport copy, copy of one document each from List A and List B is required:

Defence services ID or government ID
Driving license *
PAN card
Photo credit card
Employee ID card

Latest bank account or credit card statement
Latest electricity, telephone or mobile phone bill
Latest copy of LIC policy or insurance premium receipt
Latest copy of NSC
Employer’s letter certifying current mailing address where employer is a 'Limited Company' listed on stock exchange within the country & where KYC of the said corporate is certified by recognized official of the respective branch / region.The letter certifying current mailing address is accepted under Corporate Pay Roll Saving Account only.
Latest house lease agreement
Ration card
Bank passbook / statement
In the absence of the above an introduction by existing account holder (account in existence for more than six months) or by the existing banker will suffice.
Additional Requirements
In addition, proof of PAN/GIR No. or Form 60 (only for cash deposits) would be required. For accounts in the name of minors, a copy of the birth certificate or school certificate of the minor would be required. Foreigners resident in India would additionally require a photocopy of the passport with a valid visa or work permit.
Note: Originals must be presented for verification; * will be accepted only with a self- signed cheque.
