Browser Banking service allows access to your IDBI Bank account/s through the convenience of your mobile phone. Simply type m.idbibank.com m.idbibank.com using the in-built browser of your mobile phone, and access various banking services like Account Balance, Funds Transfer, Bill payments, Mobile & DTH Recharge, Cheque Book Request, etc. anytime, anywhere.

Eligibility


To avail of the Mobile Banking service, you should be an individual or a sole proprietor holding an account with the Bank.


How to use the service / Set your Password Online:


Register for Mobile Banking online through Net Banking or by submitting the duly completed Channel Registration Form (click to download) at your nearest IDBI Bank branch. On successful registration, you will receive a Mobile Banking activation message by SMS on your registered mobile number. Visit the bank’s website www.idbibank.com and click on 'Set Password Online' link to perform the following after validating your account and ATM-cum- Debit Card credentials :

  • Select the Mobile Banking Channel of your choice (you would be enabled for SMS Banking by default).
  • Select out of any of the following three types of access rights:
  • View Access only (or)
    Full Transaction access rights (or)
    Restricted Transaction Mode (consist of limited options like Account based Inquiries, Self a/c Funds Transfer, Bill Payments and Recharge options only).

  • Generate and set your Mobile Banking Password instantly.

Type the following link m.idbibank.com on your mobile internet browser after following the above steps and click on Login. You will be prompted to input your Login credentials after which you will be able to access a range of banking services on your phone.


Existing Content

Accounts

1) Balance Enquiry

To check the Balance of your Operative, Deposit and Loan accounts. A summary of all the accounts can also be viewed through the “Account Dashboard” option.

2) Mini Statement

To view the mini statement of your Operative accounts.

3) Transaction History

To view a detailed statement of your Operative, Deposit and Loan account on the basis of desired transaction type and search criteria.

4) Cheque Status Enquiry

To enquire about the status of a particular cheque.


Bill Payment

1) Payment

For making payment to a non-presentment biller, registered through I-net Banking. Both Hot payment and Schedule payment options are available.

2) Pending Bills

Bills of presentment billers are presented under this option, for which Hot payment or Schedule payment can be initiated. Scheduled Bill payments can be viewed through “View Scheduled Transactions” option.

3) Rejected Bills

Bills rejected through pending bills option can be viewed.

4) Past Payment  

Payment history of the bills paid for presentment and non-presentment billers can be viewed.


Funds Transfer

1) Self Account Transfer

Fund transfers within own accounts can be made. Fund transfers can be either Instant or Scheduled. Scheduled transaction can be viewed through “View Scheduled Transactions” option.

2) Third Party Transfer

Fund transfers to Third party account holder within the Bank. Fund transfers can be either Instant or Scheduled. Scheduled transaction can be viewed through “View Scheduled Transactions” option.

3) NEFT Transfer

Fund Transfer to other Bank a/c holders through NEFT. A Fund transfer can be either Instant or Scheduled. Scheduled transaction can be viewed through “View Scheduled Transactions” option.

4) IMPS

Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) allows you to transfer funds Instantly through Person to Person (P2P) or Person to Account (P2A) type of transfers. Funds can be remitted instantly across the country 24*7 and even on a Bank holiday.

5) Past Transfers

Fund transfers history of account transfers made through Mobile Banking can be viewed.


Requests

1) Cheque Book Request

A new Cheque Book Request can be initiated.

2) Stop Cheque Request

Stop cheque request can be initiated.


Recharge

1) Mobile Recharge

Mobile recharge can be done for all the major mobile operators in India.

2) DTH Recharge

DTH recharge can be done for all the major DTH operators in India.
